ATLANTA, Ga., June 4, 2024 – York Public Relations, a global fintech PR and marketing firm, announced today that two of its executives were named to this year’s “Most Powerful Women in Fintech” by PROGRESS in Lending.
Named for a fourth consecutive year, the firm’s Founder and CEO Mary York was honored as one of the industry’s top female leaders reshaping financial services. In addition to supporting PR and marketing strategies, York also supports clients’ direct sales efforts, demonstrating not only her commitment to clients’ success, but her knowledge of financial services. York was previously named to PROGRESS in Lending’s Trailblazers award in 2023, 2022 and 2020 for her work to ensure her clients are market leaders.
New to this year’s “Most Powerful Women in Fintech” list, the firm’s Vice President Mallory Griffin was also honored for her outstanding achievements among the top female leaders in the fintech industry. With nearly a decade of tech-focused PR, marketing and sales experience, Griffin’s ability to increase brand awareness and engage target audiences is unparalleled. Griffin was previously named to PROGRESS in Lending’s 2023 Trailblazers award where she was recognized for her achievements in the fintech industry.
“I’m honored to be recognized by PROGRESS in Lending alongside so many reputable leaders in fintech,” said Griffin. “As with all industries, it’s critically important that we foster diversity and inclusivity, and showcasing the incredible accomplishments of women in fintech is just one way we can do that. Fintech is constantly evolving the nature of financial services and I’m proud to see these powerful women recognized for the meaningful work they do each day.”
“I am both thrilled and honored for our team’s continued recognition as leaders in fintech among such an esteemed group,” said York. “This not only underscores our leadership and deep commitment to our clients’ success, but it also points to the exceptional talent and impactful contributions we’re making within the fintech industry. We congratulate all those named and look forward to collectively advancing our industry.”
York adds, “I am particularly thrilled to see Mallory included in this year’s list. Not only has she been instrumental in our own success, but her leadership and strategic counsel is second to none. Her inclusion is well deserved.”
